News: XG Expands Their Global Rise With ‘XG WORLD TOUR: THE CORE’ North American Dates
By. Alicia Zamora
XG are bringing their explosive live performances back to North America this fall with the announcement of the North American leg of their second world tour, XG WORLD TOUR: THE CORE. The seven-show arena run begins November 3 in Oakland, California, before making stops across major cities including Los Angeles, Chicago, Newark, Dallas, and Mexico City.
The newly announced dates arrive during a defining era for the seven-member group, whose momentum has only continued to accelerate following the release of their first full-length album, THE CORE – 核. The project debuted on the Billboard 200 and further solidified XG’s position as one of the most internationally successful acts to emerge from Japan in recent years.
Their pre-release single “GALA” became the group’s third Top 40 U.S. radio hit, following fan favorites “LEFT RIGHT” and “WOKE UP.” “LEFT RIGHT” notably spent 13 consecutive weeks on U.S. radio charts, while “GALA” debuted in the Top 10 of Billboard’s Dance Digital Song Sales chart alongside artists such as Lady Gaga, Rihanna, and BLACKPINK.
The tour also follows a milestone year for XG. In 2025, the group made history as the only Japanese artist to perform at Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, where they headlined the iconic Sahara stage and earned praise from both U.S. and international media outlets. Later this summer, the group is set to return to the American festival circuit with a performance at Head in the Clouds in Los Angeles.
Comprised of members JURIN, CHISA, HINATA, HARVEY, JURIA, MAYA, and COCONA, XG has built a reputation for blending genres, pushing visual boundaries, and delivering intensely performance-driven music entirely in English. Since debuting in 2022 with “Tippy Toes,” the group has surpassed one billion Spotify streams and cultivated a rapidly growing international fanbase known as ALPHAZ.
