Turn It Up! P1Harmony's Dynamic 8th Mini Album 'DUH!' is Here!

DUH!

With their eighth mini album DUH!, P1Harmony catapults themselves into bold new territory. This six-track project is more than a collection of high-energy anthems—it’s a confident, genre-bending statement that doubles down on their signature charisma while expanding their sonic palette. The group’s ability to seamlessly merge throwback influences with modern K-pop sensibilities is on full display here, and the result is their most cohesive—and most fun—release to date.

Track 1: DUH !

The title track “DUH!” opens the record with a punch to the gut—chaotic brass, a stomping beat, and a chant-like hook that loops itself into your memory whether you’re ready or not. There’s a deliberate roughness to the mix here, almost as if it’s meant to feel too big for your headphones. The rap verses fire off like rounds, loaded with attitude and tongue-in-cheek swagger. It’s not just a song, it’s an entrance. The kind of track you can hear coming before it hits, and once it does, there’s no mistaking who’s at the wheel.

Track 2: Pretty Boy

“Pretty Boy” follows with a completely different texture—lighter, faster, and more rhythmically layered. There’s a reggaeton beat driving the whole thing, but it doesn’t fall into cliché. Instead, the production keeps it bouncy and sharp, while the vocals glide effortlessly over the top. It’s catchy, but also deliberate. There’s a kind of quiet confidence in the way the song moves: like the group knows exactly who they are, and they’re not worried about proving it anymore.

Track 3: Murmur

Things take a darker, heavier turn with “Murmur,” which leans into brass-heavy boom bap with an edge. The song reads like a diss—direct and uncompromising, calling out doubters with precision and a bit of sarcasm. But it’s not bitter. If anything, there’s something playful in how bold it is. The instrumentation does a lot of the emotional lifting here: grainy, low-end heavy, and a little bit grimy. It sounds like a track made to be performed live in a smoke-filled room with too many bodies and not enough air.

Track 4: Flashy

Then comes “Flashy,” a track that feels like it was raised in a neon-lit rave and taught how to fight. The song crashes in with a distorted lead guitar and collapses into a stomping EDM beat that wouldn’t feel out of place in the early 2010s—but P1Harmony doesn’t let it drift into nostalgia. Their delivery grounds it in the now: aggressive, theatrical, and unrelentingly cool. There’s a danger in the gloss here, but it’s part of the thrill.

With the lyrics being

“10 outta 10
From my walk to my fingertips, my expression, every move is set
Bold step
Who does it best
Flashy-lashy, gotta keep it classy
Da-dancing under the flash
Flashing, take it—success on display
Paving new ways, full dash
A plot twist drama
I’m the one inside it
You can’t resist
All day long, you can’t look away from the show
That’s how I roll”

The fifth track, “Over And Over,” slows things down—but not too much. The saxophone and bass-heavy rhythm give it a bit of a throwback R&B feel, but there’s still that hard edge that keeps it grounded in the rest of the album. Lyrically, it’s more introspective: about persistence, about not backing down, about surviving whatever gets thrown at you. But the group never goes full sentimental. There’s always a kind of cool detachment, like even vulnerability can be powerful if you wear it right.

Finally, the album closes with “Work,” a song that somehow manages to sound both sleek and messy. It’s fast, it’s glitchy, it leans into trap and hyperpop, and it doesn’t try to make anything too neat. The verses are cocky, the flow is relentless, and the production keeps flipping on itself in ways that make it impossible to get too comfortable. It’s a fitting end to a project that never once plays it safe.

What makes DUH! so compelling is how intentional it feels. These songs aren’t just well-produced; they’re lived-in. The lyrics may flash with confidence, but it’s the creative fingerprints of the members—JIUNG, INTAK, and JONGSEOB on writing; KEEHO, JIUNG, and JONGSEOB on composition—that make the album feel personal. This isn’t just a rollout—it’s a reflection of where they are, and where they’re headed.

Their recent accolades only add context to the momentum. In 2025, P1Harmony wrapped a nine-month global tour with a triumphant arena show in Poland, delivered standout performances at the first-ever <D Awards>, and launched a new YouTube series, P1Harmony’s Eat, Sleep, Play!—giving fans a candid look into their lives behind the scenes. It’s not just about music for them—it’s a full-spectrum presence, and they know how to wield it.

Nearly four years into their career, the group—KEEHO, THEO, JIUNG, INTAK, SOUL, and JONGSEOB—have built something rare in the K-pop landscape: a distinct identity that can shapeshift without losing itself. With DUH!, they’ve distilled that identity into something loud, fearless, and completely their own. The album doesn’t ask for approval. It just exists—loud, alive, and already on repeat.
