ONE OK ROCK is expanding the world of DETOX with the announcement of their upcoming live EP, Live From DETOX JAPAN TOUR 2025, set to release on April 30. Dropping alongside it is the band’s concert film, ONE OK ROCK DETOX JAPAN TOUR 2025 AT NISSAN STADIUM IN CINEMAS, bringing one of their biggest shows yet to audiences beyond the stadium.

The release marks one year since DETOX, a project that pushed the band into a more expansive and emotionally raw sound. Instead of leaving it there, the band is revisiting the album through a six-track live EP, featuring songs like “Delusion:All,” “Party’s Over,” and “The Pilot </3.” Rather than just re-releasing the same material, the live versions capture the intensity their music is known for—something that doesn’t always fully translate in studio recordings.

The concert film builds on that energy. Filmed at Nissan Stadium in front of 70,000 fans, the performance reflects how far the band has come—from smaller venues to massive global stages. The show was part of their DETOX World Tour, which reached over 190,000 fans across North America, Europe, and Japan.

What makes the film stand out is how it’s being presented. Using SCREENX and 4DX formats, it leans into a more immersive experience, aiming to replicate the scale and atmosphere of a live show rather than just documenting it. It’s less about watching from a distance and more about feeling placed inside the performance itself.

The film premieres in Japan on April 17, with international screenings beginning April 22 and continuing through April 30, when it reaches the U.S. and Mexico alongside the EP release.

Since their debut in 2005, ONE OK ROCK has built a global following through their blend of rock, emo, and post-hardcore influences, along with a reputation for high-energy performances. With this release, they’re not necessarily moving on from DETOX just yet—they’re giving it a second life, this time through the lens of a live audience.
