Hohyun was making waves as he started his first-ever headlining show at the Moroccan Lounge on June 18th. The crowd was overfilled with joy when Hohyun appeared on stage. His opening act, Micah Yoo, touched the souls of many. Both artists performed sincerely, and you could see their passion while performing.
Starting off with Micah Yoo, the crowd gave him a warm welcome with not only applause but enthusiastic screams. You could see how he was taking it all in and had an endless smile on his face throughout his entire set. I was able to see how crazy talented they were. Being able to see how both Micah and Hohyun went crazy on the guitar was phenomenal. Music holds such strong emotions, and they did such an amazing job of putting that into words. They touched the hearts of many on that night.
Hohyun Is Making Waves With His First Headlining Show

Opening up the show with “Better Days', the artist Hohyun had the crowd going wild. Seeing the passion he had in his eyes up close let me know that the music he releases and sings is really important to him. You could feel a sense of sincerity, love, and passion. The whole night was crazy.
Being in the crowd was such an experience. You could see how one shines when they do something they were meant to do, and for Hohyun, that's performing and singing. As the lights dimmed and beamed on him, you could see a star on stage. As the show came to an end, the emotions drifted not only from the artist but from the crowd. As Hohyun mentioned before performing his song "Drama,” it was a song that was written during a dark time in his past, and music was something he used to write down how he felt. In the crowd, you could see people singing along, and how deeply touched they were.
As he continued singing, you could feel how everyone related to the lyrics in some capacity. Seeing the crowd light up their phones made this moment feel so surreal, and I’m glad people were able to experience it. As someone who was in the crowd, you could see the emotions pouring out, and it was outright beautiful. As the tears were streaming down his face, you could see how this was something he was meant to do. You could feel all of his emotions when listening to him and hearing him live.
As he ended the show and thanked everyone for coming, fans wanted more. They started chanting “Encore Encore Encore,” and he came back to give the crowd what they wanted. The long-awaited song “Sunset Boulevard” was played as an encore, and the fans went crazy for it. The room lit up with peer joy and enthusiasm. The band went crazy and did an outstanding job. As an artist, Hohyun will continue to thrive and I can’t wait to see where this journey takes him.
